Beta-Barium Borate(BBO)
Since the first discovery of BBO crystal in China, CASTON engineers have been growing and manufacturing BBO crystal. With the latest improved molten salt method, CASTON can produce high quality barium metaborate (BBO) with a maximum size of 25 x 25 x 25mm3
The product has excellent optical homogeneity.
CASTON'S BBO featured:
● Broad phase-matchable SHG rang from 409.6nm to 3500nm
● Wide transmission region from 190nm to 3500nm
● Large effective second-harmonic-generation (SHG) coefficient
● High damage threshold of 10GW/cm2 for 100 ps pulse-width at 1064nm
● Wide temperature-bandwidth of about 55'℃ ( for type I SHG 1064 nm )
● Good mechanical and physical properties
